Algonquin Power Venture Fund Inc. (“APVF”) is committed to
safeguarding your privacy and protecting the personal information
you provide to us. This Privacy Policy outline is designed to
help you understand what information APVF collects, how APVF
uses and safeguards that information, and with whom APVF shares

What personal information do we collect?
We collect the information you provide to us on account application
forms, paper and electronic instructions, and telephone instructions
from you or your financial advisor. This information may include
your:
- Name and address
- Contact information
- Beneficiary(ies) name(s)
- Social Insurance Number
- Banking information
- Date of birth
- Financial advisor information
- Investment instructions
Some of what is collected depends on the services you request.
For example, we require your banking information to set up automatic
deposits on your account(s). Except as permitted or required
by law, APVF limits its collection, use, retention and disclosure
of your personal information to that which is reasonably necessary
for the purposes described below.
How do we use your personal information?
We, in conjunction with our third party service providers, use
your personal information to administer and maintain your account(s)
with us. This includes:

- Providing transaction confirmations
- Issuing account statements
- Issuing tax receipts and tax reporting
- Meeting legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensuring our records are accurate
- Communicating with you
- Contacting your financial advisor
We do not now (nor do we intend to) sell, rent or otherwise

We maintain procedures and systems to safeguard the information
that we collect and retain. APVF protects your personal information
disclosed to third parties by ensuring that such parties have
controls and safeguards in place to protect the confidentiality
of your information. Within APVF and among our service providers,
we restrict access to your personal information to those with
a business need to know, or whose duties reasonably require

CONSENT
When you agree to use our services or submit personal information
to APVF, either directly or through your financial advisor,
you are consenting to our collection from, verification with,
and communication to, any third party for the purposes described
above. You also consent to the collection, use, disclosure and
processing of your information by APVF agents and service providers
for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy. You may withdraw
your consent for us to use your personal information at any
time by calling us at 1-866-799-3081 or emailing us at APVF@algonquinpowerventurefund.com,
subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable
notice. However, withdrawal of your consent may affect our ability
to administer your account(s).
How do you access and update your information?
You may access the personal information we hold about you at
any time by contacting us with a written request. We may be
unable to provide you with some information in certain circumstances,
such as if the information also refers to other individuals,
is subject to legal privilege, contains confidential information,
cannot be retrieved using your name or account number, or is
otherwise permitted or restricted by law. If you wish to change
or update your personal information, you may do so at any time.
